Little Yellow Bird is a certified organic uniform company and they took out both the Supreme Award and Hardwired for Good Award (sponsored by Alsco NZ) in the Sustainable Business Network 2019 Business Awards.
This wee Wellington based organisation are known as The Ethical Uniform Makers, and they are raising the bar for the entire uniform manufacturing industry. Their uniforms and tees are good for people and the planet. They combine functionality, style and comfort with transparent, ethical and fair production.
The Little Yellow Bird business model is based on fair treatment, openness, honesty and transparency. These virtues are incorporated into everything that they do, at all stages of production. That includes fair treatment for their farmers, factory workers, team and their clients.
It's great to see companies in our industry making a positive change, and Alsco is looking forward to working more with Little Yellow Bird in future!
